1. Proof of identity( Aadhhar card, driving license, Voter card, Passport etc.)

2. Proof of Address ( Aadhaar card, driving license, Passport, utility bill (not older than 3 months, bank statement)

4. Mobile number and email Id for verification purposes

For organisations, companies, firms, corporations

For Companies

For companies, you need these documents while applying for a digital signature certificate:

1. Organisation Pan card (if GST no is not provided)

2. Bank statement 

3. Certificate of Incorporation

4. Proof of Authorised signatory (List of Directors / Board Resolution)

5. Authorised Signatory ID Proof (Organisational ID Card / PAN Card / etc)

6. ID Proof of Authorised Person (PAN + Aadhaar)

For Partnership 

For a partnership, you need these documents while applying for a digital signature certificate:

1. Organisational PAN card. (If GST No. not provided)

2. Recent Bank statement. (If GST No. not provided)

3. Partnership deed containing a list of Partners / Authorisation Letter

4. Authorised Signatory ID Proof (Organisational ID Card / PAN Card / etc)

5. ID Proof of Authorised Person (PAN + Aadhaar)

For Proprietorship

For a proprietorship, you need these documents while applying for a digital signature certificate:

1. Recent Bank statement. If GST No. not provided

2. Business registration certificate

3. Authorised Signatory ID Proof (Organisational ID Card / Pan Card / etc)

4. ID Proof of Authorised Person (Pan + Aadhaar)

For AOI/BOI 

For an AOI/BOI, you need these documents while applying for a digital signature certificate:

Document required for Foreign Nationals / Foreign Companies

Document required for a foreign Individual

1. Proof of Identity ( Passport, Visa, Resident Permit (if applicant is in India)

2. Applicant must have a valid address proof (Passport, any other government-issued address proof)

3.  Attestation

The document must be validated and legalised by the native country’s embassy.

Document required for a foreign company

1. Applicant must have an identity proof (Passport and visa, residence permit certificate (if applicant is residing in India)

2. Certificate of Incorporation

3. Organisation Address Proof

  • A recent document, such as a bank statement and utility bill (not older than 3 months), in the organisation's name.

  • Authorization letter

  • Board Resolution/Signatory Proof

Foreign documents must be verified under the Strict Attestation Rules.
